§ International MBA (usually ranked in the top 10% of the class and ranked 1st in the 4th term).

§ Member of the Dean’s Class, recognition for a group of individuals who demonstrate exceptional

Director, Operations

As part of the management team (subsidiary in Brazil) was responsible for the overall operations performance of the Business Unit. I was also responsible for a key account in the Telecommunications industry.
§ Developed, negotiated and approved the budget for the company - Turn-Around Plan.
§ Co-responsibility with the Managing Director in reporting the Business Unit performance to the board located in Portugal and London.
§ Part of the team responsible for reviewing proposals (bid reviews) of Outsourcing and Implementation projects.
§ Participated on the transition project after the acquisition of the company.
§ Managed successfully a key account in the Telecommunications Industry (7 Digit €).
2005
Edinfor – a LogicaCMG company, IS Consultancy Director, Enterprise Services

Reporting to the Managing Director was responsible for the Enterprise Services business unit (7 digit €). Main achievements:
§ Managed a team of 80 consultants in the SAP, GIS and Oracle business - pre-sales and operations in the Energy and Utilities and Telecommunications industry.
§ Chargeability rate of 88% of the team and the most profitable business unit of the company that year.
2004
ACE, IS Consultancy (Acquired by LogicaCMG) Managing Director
São Paulo, Brazil
Appointed as the managing director of the subsidiary of ACE in Brazil (50 employees) was responsible for the overall performance of the business unit. Main achievements:
§ Successfully executed a Turn-around plan where the major objective was to achieve an operational break-even (EBITDA). This Plan was executed in 8 months.
§ Managed a team of 50 people in the outsourcing, SAP and ORACLE businesses and in the Telecommunications and Utilities industry.
§ Solved difficult negotiation situations - client contract terminations and downsizing.
2003
Business Development Manager

Responsible for the Business Development Unit of the company
§ Created and managed a new business in a major Telecommunications operator.
§ Created and managed the “Scala” Business (ERP for the middle market). ROI in one year.

Participated in several projects as a business consultant:
§ Project Manager of a Process Reengineering Project (4 months) – Redefined the processes for several areas of the company: Organizational Design, HR, Commercial and Marketing, Finance and Control, Logistics, Quality and Innovation. After the project, 4 companies were working through the same processes and over a single brand.
§ PMO on a Billing implementation – project implemented in 19 month including more than 200 consultants in the Telco industry.

§ Languages: Native speaker of Portuguese, fluent in English, good level of Spanish and basic in French (6 years).
§ Interests: Was the captain of the juniors Team in Sporting and later was a member of several professional teams of basketball in Portugal and was part of the under 22 national basketball team; was a member of the pedagogical council and the students Association at university; voluntary on the team that implemented the “Junior achievement day” in Instituto de Empresa (2007).

§ Entrepreneurial: Launched a new venture in the advertising industry in 2005.
